Sant Llorenc des Cardassar is a community in the east of Majorca. This community is divided into the village of Cala Millor, Sa Coma, Son Carrió and S'Illot. With its 7.500 habitants, San Lorenzo is one of the favourite vacational areas of Majorca. Especially Cala Millor and Sa Coma have developed, since the 80's, to one of the favourite touristic centres.
The archaelogical abundance is very important and especially worth seeing is the cave of Cova de ses Crestes, as well as Punta de n'Amer, a favourite sightseeing tour on the east coast. Upcountry , you will find Son Carrió, with its unique church, which harbours, one of Antonio Gaudi created windowrose. Gaudi himself, revised the plans for the temple, which has been built by parson Antonio MarÃa Alcover.
